Data Inventory

We store only what running the service and preventing abuse actually requires. Here is exactly what that is:

• Analysis Results. Returned numeric results can be reused for 14 days, keyed to a SHA-256 hash of the file. This reuse window does not establish when database records or backups are deleted.
• Rate Limiting Data. We store a salted one-way hash of your IP address to enforce a limit of 12 analyses per 24 hours. The original IP address is never stored.
• Usage Metrics. We record the duration of each analysed track for capacity and volume reporting.
• No Audio. Audio sits in memory for the duration of the request only. We never write it to disk, database or object storage.
• No Accounts. There's no signup, no email collection and no user profiles.

Third-party handling

The complete audio file, media type and sanitised filename are forwarded to Modulate for classification. A filename may contain identifying information and can appear in failure logs. Provider retention and safeguards require separate confirmation.

Government and legal requests

No verified request totals are published here. We would evaluate a valid request against available operational records and applicable law. The application does not retain uploaded audio.

Advertising

The Google AdSense loader is installed, but no manual ad unit IDs are configured in the site code. Account-controlled Auto ads are independent. Google advertising technology may process identifiers under its own terms. See our cookie policy.
